It has bothered the hell out of me for years when I hear on local news about a Kishwaukee River rescue. In most cases, it's just idiotic. I think I can fix that. I put together a page that is a guide for safe recreation on the stretch from Cherry Valley to the Rock River. I hope to put up about 5 or 6 simple signs along this stretch that might read...
"Know Before You Go" with the rest of the sign displaying a QR code which will connect to the Kishwaukee River Rec page that displays the info need for safe recreation.
Let me know what you think.
I am planning to meet with Channel 23, Cherry Valley Fire Department, and Rocktown Andventures for support. I strongly feel this will save lives...
Please don't share just yet. I plan to go public by July 4. Let me know what you think.
Can an idiot do and understand this?
