Welcome! The Fox River is probably the best smallmouth fishery in Illinois.
Thanks for adding me to the group I live in Chicago but travel to kayak many areas I am looking forward to the info here to help me in the pursuit of more streams and rivers to fish I just caught my personal best Largemouth floating A stream in Nashville with my oldest son 7+lb 23.5" I figured I would add pic to help introduce myself and who doesn't want to post a pic of a large fish.
