SB Yak Attack

Took Brandy out for a little float today on the south branch of the Kishwaukee river. Paddled upstream to an area that I think is going to produce big for me someday. Picked up 2 smallmouth out of that area using a tube. Tried topwater a few times throughout the day, but could only find action with the tube. Got skunked for about the next 2 1/2 hours and then finally pulled in another smallie on the tube holding tight to the bank in a fast water stretch.

The action wasn't quite what I was looking for, but I had to get out since Mr. Weatherman is calling for heavy thunderstorms on Sunday, June 7th. Biggest fish went 15 1/2".
