Got out for a coupleof hours before work. The air temp for the day ws to be a high of about 72 degrees. I fished from about 10:30am to about a quarter to one.
I picked up this 15" smallie on about my third or fourth cast with a tube. The smallmouth was tucked up behind a bridge pylon and nailed the tube as it floated downstream against the pylon. I stuck with the tube for awhile but couldn't find any more action so I then tied on a buzz bait, swim jig, buzz bait, tube. No more
bites and time to go to work. Damn it!
November is starting to look pretty sweet with mild temps still in the forecast. This makes me happy.
