I Lied

Got out a couple house before work (11am - 1:30 pm), the bite was slow around the "House of Pain" area. Water levels have dropped below 6.30ft which is where I like it. I was a bit surprised at the heavy stain in the water. The slow bite could be from the stain, or it could be from the time of day that I have been getting out. I'm kind of thinking that I need to go out in the morning hours more often rather than hitting it a couple hours before work.

I picked up one (1) 13 1/2" smallmouton a tube and a 27" pike on that same tube. I couldn't snap a pick of the smallmouth as it had taken the tube deep so I just snipped off the line at the hook and released the fish. Hope it makes it.
