NOT A SMALLMOUTH

I tossed the tube next to a downed tree that sits mid-stream.

WHAMO! The tube got crushed about 2 seconds after hitting the water.

"This is BRUTUS!", I thought to myself.

I had a good hook-set and was comfortable with playing the fish out.

The fish made a few runs pulling line from my reel but had only broke the surface once with a back roll. The fish charged and forced me to step to the side to avoid being struck. It's a Pike. It's a big freaking Pike. It's.......PIKEZILLA!!!

I taped the fish at 35 inches.

This is the largest fish I have ever landed from the Kish.
