1st. Wet Wade

Hit Kilbuck for about an hour and a half before work. The air temp was to be in the low 70's for the day so I decided it would be a good day to begin wet wading. Water temp was about 50 degrees and flowing with a slight stain. Water felt fine. I worked my way down stream to the Willow Creek area testing spots along the way. Picked up one (1) 13 inch smallie in a pool that I thought for sure would produce more fish. This worried me. Got to the Willow Creek area and started getting hits right away. Hits but no takers. Moved down stream a bit to a riffle and found the smallies sitting on the current seam to a small eddy attached to the riffle. Picked up four, 1 @ 12", 1 @ 13", 1 @ 14", 1 @ 15". All smallmouth caught using a green pumpkin seed GM tube. Went to work.
