April: Month In Review

Well the month of April was tough. I started off the month with the passing of my father on April 6th, and the month just seemed to want to so stay dark, rainy, gloomy, and cold. I managed to get out a few times on solo wades, plus did a river clean up with a couple of ISA buddies. I guess the highlight of the month had to have been on April 17 when I landed a fly rod personal best of 18 1/4 inches.

I've been spending some time going through dad;s fishing stuff. It sucks but I'm sure it's what he wants. Looking forward to nicer weather and the dropping of the river levels in the coming weeks of May.

Biggest fish of the month (19 inches) came on the day we cleaned up the river.

It really does pay to do stuff like that.
