June: Month In Review

Not too much to say for June. On June 1st. I did bring to hand a Personal Best 19 1/4" smallmouth, but after that the rains kept the water levels high and a heavy stain in the water stayed for the entire month making fishing pretty tough. The last week of the month looks to be rain free so things should pick up in July. Only managed to land 5 smallies the entire month. June is historically my worst month for smallmouth fishing. Year after year Jine turns out bad. Must have something to do with high, stained waters and post spawn.
