Camera is back up and running.

Thought I had a guide trip today, but it ends up that I am as dumb as my wife says I am. The guide trip is tomorrow morning.

Did a solo wade of the Kish north branch and into a little trib. Picked one 14" smallmouth and a 20" pike off the top with a popper on the Kish, and then 6 more smallies in the 14 inch range from the trib.

While running a popper thru a nice pool on the trib, a huge smallmouth (Brutus potential) made a failed lunge at the popper. I stayed in the area and fan casted with the popper but could not get the beast tp rise again. I tied on a tube and fan casted the area with no result. Tied on a buzz bait and once again the large smallmouth broke the surface and missed. I so do LOVE the hunt for BRUTUS.
