Slow Day

I spent just about the whole day wading the Kish looking for that big Fall bite. It didn't happen.

The bite was real slow and I could only manage one (1) smallmouth on a popper.

I ran into and ISA member who was on a float trip with two other friends and they too were having trouble finding a smallmouth bite.

Water temps are dropping.

October 2 - picked up to little dinks with the fly rod.
