I found myself standing mid-river with high cut banks all on both sides of me, there are no sand or rock bars near by along the banks, with my fly stuck in a damn tree. I hear a snap, and now my limp fly line is quickly unthreading back thru the guides of my fly rod. Well that's just great!

This thing works great! I was very impressed. I threaded the fly line back through the rod guides while standing mid river in about waist high water. The next fly I was trying to tie on had glue caked over the hook eye. Of course it did! It took me about 3 failed attempts of threading my tippet line through the hook eye before I remembered I could use the Magnetic Hook Threader. I have used this feature a few times with success every time.

There are still many features on the Line Buddy I have yet to use and I look forward to discoing those this season. The magnetic aspects of this tool works wonderfully and I feel safe give this tool the Smallmouth Hunter stamp of approval. If you happen to have any type of disability the Line Buddy can truly be your buddy.
