Decided to breakout the fly rod and try to chase down some pike. It was a beautiful February 19 day with a record high of 67 degrees. WOW! February!!

I wanted to hit an area of the Kish south branch that is best accessed from Deer Run F.P. but the park was closed and hiking in from the outer parking lot was something I just had no interest in doing while wear waders. No pike were brought to hand, not a nibble.
