Quick One & Done

So the plan was to leave work at 6pm and get an early start to the 3 day weekend.
My boss, Richard Knoggin, would not allow me to leave until 7pm. By the time I drive to
the crick, this will only leave about a half-hour tops to wet a line.
Upon arrival at the creek, I slipped on my waders and made my way down to the creeks edge. The level was still too high to safely wade so I would have to stick to walking the banks. I had a tube, rigged Texas style, with an 1/8oz weight on my line from my last outing. I felt the 1/8oz weight might be a little big for this particular outing but day light was fading fast.
One of my goals for this 2017 season is to be better at quick, short outings. Hit an area with limited time and get results.
Pulled out an 18.5", tried something new with the camera which didn't work out, released the 18.5", drove home in the dark with a big smile on my face.
I need to work on my picture taking skills under low light.....
